2-D electrophoresis system

Technical capability: It is possible to allow up to 16 gels at one time (from 25x20 cm). Possibility to work with 18 or 24 cm immobilized gels. Cassettes, 1.0 mm or 1.5 mm thick. Freezing is ensured by ceramic block and buffer circulation pump. There is gel batcher, cassette, glass tray, thermostat circulator of various temperature.

Also Lithuanian Institute of Forestry has freezers, laminar consoles, draught consoles, incubators, analyzer of CHNSO elements, climatic chamber, electronic scales, system of gel documentation, thermal shakers, biophotometer, microscope with coloured video camera, stereomicroscope and other devices.
