Scientific Research Directions of the Institute

The Institute implements researches financed from the state budget under 4 main research directions confirmed by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania:

Institute is a member of International Union of Forest Research Organisations (IUFRO). Cooperation contracts have been signed with forest research institutes in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Russia and other countries. Cooperation is ensured both when implementing bilateral and international projects, as well as when improving professional skills of the scientific workers.
